Shannon and his wife, Susan, served for 25 and 35 years, respectively, with the campus ministry of Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ). The Reeves have been married for 30 years (2022) and live in Austin, Texas. They have two daughters and three grandkids and love camping, hiking, water, mountains, beaches and friends.


In addition to managing Austin Premier Mattress, Shannon also works to create opportunities for connection and mentoring within a relational network of 900+ men in the Austin area. This network, which began in 2004 with 10 men who simply wanted to get together regularly to connect about life and faith, has evolved into five different monthly gatherings of varying sizes, made up of men of all ages, backgrounds and vocations. As men move from isolation to connectedness, their hearts are revived, their hope is renewed and they experience God's love and forgiveness in their homes, workplaces and communities.
