ILLUMINATION

The 2025 University of Central Missouri President’s Gala, titled “Illumination,” will spotlight dynamic performances by Music, Theatre, and Dance students and engaging visual art by students in Art and Design. The collaborative celebration will feature guest artist Dr. Jan Kraybill, a Grammy-nominated musician and organ conservator at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.

UCM’s School of Visual and Performing Arts offers undergraduate and graduate students exciting opportunities to work closely with accomplished faculty as they engage deeply with their artistic disciplines. Graduates go on to fulfilling careers as professional artists, designers, musicians, producers and educators, expanding the arts in their communities. Education and exposure to the arts are crucial to developing the next generation of art makers and art lovers whose passion will enhance and enrich lives.

Whether you picture a student working at a computer screen, with a paintbrush or with clay; singing, speaking or dancing on a stage; producing a high-energy soundtrack or spinning a gentle melody from an instrument; or shaping the physical world around us through design, your financial support will allow students the ability to reach for the extraordinary, chase the artistic spark, and produce the great works of the future.

Sponsorship Levels include:

Leading Role - $1,000

Director - $5,000

Producer - $10,000

Presidential Honors - $25,000

Presenting Sponsor - $50,000

Your sponsorship of the 2025 President’s Gala will help facilitate important upgrades to facilities within the School of Visual and Performing Arts, such as the James L. Highlander Theatre, Hart Recital Hall and the UCM Art Gallery. Sponsorships will also enhance learning spaces and provide important equipment like ceramic kilns, musical instruments and theatrical costumes. Furthermore, you may choose to contribute to a scholarship in any area of the arts.

Leading Role sponsors will receive two (2) tickets to attend the President's Gala at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in preferred special sponsor seating with valet parking (1), name placement on all event signage and website landing page for the event, and name placement in the program and rotation slide to be part of the video presentation in the lobby.

Director sponsors will receive two (2) tickets to attend the VIP cocktail party at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts with valet parking (1), preferred special sponsor seating at the President's Gala for two (2) guests, mention of the sponsor by the emcee, logo placement on all event signage and website landing page for the event, logo placement in the program and rotation slide to be part of the video presentation in the lobby., and their name will appear on the sponsor board inside the pre-event cocktail party.

Producer sponsors will receive two (2) tickets to attend the VIP cocktail party at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts with valet parking (1), preferred seating at the President's Gala in the section with UCM President Roger Best and First Lady Robin Best for six (6) guests, plus four (4) additional tickets to the performance, mention of the sponsor by the emcee, logo placement on all event signage and website landing page for the event (with a link to the company website landing page), logo placement in the program and rotation slide to be part of the video presentation in the lobby, and name will appear on the sponsor board inside the pre-event cocktail party.

Presidential Honors sponsors will receive four (4) tickets to attend the VIP cocktail party and the President's Gala at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts with valet parking (4), VIP pass for you and your guests to the meet and greet with featured artist Jan Kraybill, Grammy-nominated musician and organ conservator at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, a meet and mingle with other corporate sponsors, premier seating with UCM President Roger Best and First Lady Robin Best at the President's Gala for eight (8) guests., mention of the sponsor by the emcee, logo placement on all event signage and website landing page for the event (with a link to the company website landing page), logo placement in the program and rotation slide to be part of the video presentation in the lobby, name will appear on the sponsor board inside the pre-event cocktail party, and post-event photos in UCM Magazine and The Independent Magazine.

The Presenting Host sponsor will receive six (6) tickets to attend the VIP cocktail party and the President's Gala at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts with valet parking (6), VIP pass for you and your guests to the meet and greet with featured artist Jan Kraybill, Grammy-nominated musician and organ conservator at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, meet and mingle with other corporate sponsors, premier seating with UCM President Roger Best and First Lady Robin Best at the President's Gala for ten (10) guests, highlight by the emcee, premier logo placement on all event signage and website landing page for the event (with a link to the company website landing page), premier logo placement in the program and rotation slide to be part of the video presentation in the lobby, name to appear on the sponsor board inside the pre-event cocktail party, and post-event photos in UCM Magazine and The Independent Magazine.
