I spent part of my childhood on the mission field in Liberia West Africa, and missions has been in my heart ever since. I am excited to work with Spoken Worldwide where I can combine my love for missions and education! As an elementary school teacher I loved watching the face of a child light up when they finally “got it”. Today I experience that same joy when I see the face of an oral learner light up when they learn Scripture in a way that is meaningful to them. By using tools like stories, proverbs, hand signs and songs that are effective with Oral Learners we engage them with in-depth Bible study and even theological education. What a privilege it is to train leaders who will train more leaders in places I may never be able to go personally.
