I (Palm) was born and raised in Thailand with the idea that religion (Bhuddism) was a cultural practice and a tradition to be followed. Now as a Christian, I am blessed to have a personal relationship with the Living God. I have the privilege and obligation as a Christ-follower to reach out to people in South East Asia and to share Salvation that comes through Jesus Christ and the new life and eternal hope in Him. I love teaching and empowering people through the Spoken Method because they hear the Word of God directly and discover the truth from His Word for themselves. They are empowered to share the Word and help others to discover the truth without a barrier of literacy, education, and socio-economic and class status. It is pure joy watching women and men, children and elderly telling stories to each other from the Word of God. These truths from the Bible equip them to live and share with others in persecuted areas. We pray for breakthrough from addictions, sickness, poverty, and idolatry as we empower the whole community in the truth of God through the Spoken Method, one life at a time. We have also discovered new oral tribal languages and hope to have the Bible Stories translated and copied onto MP3 players for distribution. We also seek partnerships with other Oral Bible Translation organizations to equip people for evangelism and discipleship through the Spoken Method. We are now living in Thailand. As such, we have opportunities and privilege to train and equip local leaders to use the Spoken Method to study the Word of God in their communities in-person. We ask for your prayer support.
