I absolutely LOVE God’s Word! Studying it in community has been the source of the most profound growth and transformation in my life. So, the question of how to meaningfully engage with people who can’t (or don’t) read, impacted how to reach out to our neighbors in Honduras. God, in his infinite wisdom, connected me with folks (at Spoken) who had already explored this question and developed initiatives to deliver truth where written words can’t go. I’m honored to join this team, to continue to serve locally in Honduras with discipleship in small groups using Spoken’s tried and true method, and also to train up leaders (either through online or in person workshops) throughout Latin America. This is a breakthrough for many communities of oral learners to be able to share with their neighbors the transformational truth of God’s redeeming love.
