I have been interested in missions since childhood and became interested in Bible translation in college. Once my husband and I got to the mission field in 2013, we immediately saw what a wonderful thing it would be if the Bible was in the language people spoke every day. We learned about Oral Bible Translation in 2021 and knew that it would be a lot more effective in our location than a written translation.

We partnered with Spoken and they made the process so quick and easy. We love their emphasis on training local leaders to take over the work and making sure the Bible translation is completely true, but in a style that people can immediately access and interact with - no classrooms or books required! My goal is to provide support for oral Bible translation projects and train local people to take over my job.
