The Somali pastors of East Africa are building their Church, and your support can make all the difference.
Approximately less than 1% of the population in East Africa is known to follow Christ. Those who remain face violent attacks, economic poverty, spiritual isolation, and even death for their faith in Jesus. But there are Somali pastors who are not giving up . . . and they need our help.
Somalis in East Africa are seeing staggering levels of persecution. Christians in the region are forced to practice their faith in secret for fear of their lives. Many are totally isolated, lacking Christian community. The challenge before us is to meet them where they are.
For Secret Church 19, we’re banding together to provide vital gospel training to pastors in the region. Think of the plethora of resources available to pastors in the United States—resources that help you and me interpret and apply God’s Word. Somali pastors have none of them. But all of that can change in one night.
Together, at Secret Church 19, we can join with the global Church to "strengthen what remains and is about to die" (Revelation 3:2) among Somalis in East Africa.
Our Goal = $175,000 for critical on-going pastor training. That’s just $3 per person at SC19. $3 or more to give Somali pastors resources and training they desperately need to reach the hostile-to-Jesus areas of East Africa.
