Prisoners in Africa struggle with overcrowding, as well as lack of food and proper sanitation. Their families often face public stigma and scrutiny, which causes them to withdraw from their communities. National ministries in the Africa region address these issues and provide spiritual support, vocational training, and family care through proven, strategic programs that operate in partnership with hundreds of local churches, as well as nonprofits, and community and government agencies.
