Easter Dinner $2.15

For the price of a cup of coffee, you can provide an Easter dinner for someone here at Open Door Mission.

You will make Easter a day to celebrate instead of one more day to go hungry.

Hunger drives many here. Men come who have lost their jobs. Some have given up looking for work and are penniless. Mothers with children come because they cannot put food on the table. With no family or friends to turn to, they cannot see life getting better. 

But here, everyone gets a warm welcome and an opportunity for a new start. Even when all else fails, Jesus gives hope. Faith in God overcomes all. 

That’s the way it has been since we first opened our doors in 1954. All shelter, meals and care are given free of charge. Everyone who stays here has chores and helps out, but we can only go forward with support from friends like you.

Please join us. $2.15 provides an Easter meal. Any remaining funds provide additional meals and shelter, as well as job training, education and spiritual nourishment. I’m happy to tell you many men, women and children find peace with God and enjoy a new life.
