This Christmas, Help those Struggling with Poverty and Hunger

What does someone who is homeless want for Christmas? They have lost just about every good thing they have known. What can you give them that will make a difference? 

For the price of a cup of coffee, you can give four great gifts.

  1.  Christmas Dinner: Some who come here haven’t eaten for days. The meal you provide will make Christmas a good day, instead of just one more day going hungry. 
  2.  A Safe Place to Sleep: Your gift also funds a safe place to sleep. It is a great gift for someone who is homeless. Living on the streets is miserable and dangerous. You wake up at every sound, afraid of someone stealing your things, or worse. 
  3.  Forgiveness: Your gift keeps the doors open at Open Door Mission for people to find forgiveness. Regrets are hard to live with. But in this caring place, many find the way to take off the guilt by getting things right with God. 
  4.  A Way to Give Back: Just about every person who walks into Open Door Mission wants to be useful. They do not want to be a burden to society. They want the dignity of using their God-given skills to be productive and help others.
