Emergencies affect everyone, but women, children, and those living in poverty often face the greatest impacts.  Natural disasters, famine, war and conflict impact all aspects of life: from physical and mental health, to housing and income.  Many developing countries are already facing economic hardships and daunting debt, leaving them with limited resources to respond to emergencies. Providing immediate relief supplies can make all the difference for families surviving a crisis.

  • For the first time in over 20 years, the COVID-19 pandemic caused global poverty rates to rise.
  • As many as 50% of children report post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms after experiencing a disaster.  
  • 1.4 billion people live in either fragile, conflict-affected, or vulnerable settings. 

One Day's Wages comes alongside grassroots partners to provide relief supplies like food, hygiene kits and medical support during times of emergency crisis.  When you contribute to our Emergency Relief fund, 100% of your donation (minus transaction fees) goes directly to our carefully vetted partners implementing relief projects during natural disasters and emergency situations.
