Support Tyson Cunningham, Nations of Coaches Character Coach
Tyson Cunningham serves as the Character Coach at Mississippi State University, where his roots and passion for the university run deep. Born and raised in Columbus, Mississippi, he graduated from Columbus High School before earning a degree in Music from Mississippi State University.
A former Mississippi State men's basketball player, Tyson competed for the Bulldogs from 2011–2014. Following graduation, he served for 10 years as the Mississippi State Men's Basketball Team Chaplain through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He also previously served as Lead Worship Pastor at Vibrant Church.
Tyson married his wife, Crystal, while he was a student-athlete at Mississippi State. Together, they have three children: Christian, Chylee, and Cade.
