Support Nick Graham, Nations of Coaches Character Coach
Nick Graham serves as the Character Coach for the McNeese State University men’s basketball program. A native of Dallas, Texas, Nick graduated from Washington State University, where he played basketball under his father, head coach Paul Graham. Growing up in the game, he was mentored by Hall of Fame coaches Eddie Sutton and Bill Self, experiences that shaped both his character and calling.
Following his playing career, Nick transitioned into coaching, including a collegiate stint at Iowa State University. In 2008, he founded Attitude N’ Altitude (A N’ A) Basketball, an organization that has developed thousands of players who have gone on to compete at collegiate and professional levels. Through his work, Nick has trained NBA players such as Chauncey Billups, Trae Young, and Jimmer Fredette—using God’s Word and power (Matthew 22:29) to comfort, empower, and guide athletes through the challenges of competition and life.
Nick is also the author of two books that reflect his passion for integrating faith and athletics: God X Basketball, a devotional helping athletes strengthen their relationship with God, and Underdog, which focuses on restoring and recalibrating the competitive spirit. God X Basketball has been endorsed by NBA Hall of Famer Chauncey Billups and Kansas coach Bill Self, and was featured in GQ Essentials by UConn star Paige Bueckers.
Combining basketball expertise, mental performance training, and faith-based mentorship, Nick continues to use his platform to support athletes’ holistic growth—helping them develop both on the court and in their walk with Christ.
