Support Dre McLean, Nations of Coaches Character Coach Associate

Andre McLean was born and raised in Hampton, Virginia. Growing up, he loved playing basketball, football, and competing in track and field. After high school, Dre went on to Liberty University where he earned an undergraduate degree in Public Health. He continued his studies at Liberty where he earned his master's degree in Divinity while also serving Liberty’s basketball team. Dre takes great joy in using his love for sports as a tool to share the Gospel of Christ. Doing life alongside players, coaches, and managers, he exemplifies that the only way to true peace is by having a relationship with Jesus. He teaches through example that sports will end someday for every player and every coach, but forming one’s identity in Christ is what brings eternal hope and joy. Dre’s past experiences have trained him well for his role as Character Coach at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
