Alabama A&M Men's Basketball Team - Summer Outreach to Dominican Republic

The Alabama A&M Men’s Basketball team will travel to the Dominican Republic from August 1–10, 2024, to play basketball against other college and professional teams.

While in the Dominican Republic, they will use this time to get to know and assist people in impoverished areas of this country. The athletes and coaching staff will be participating in the following activities:

• Service projects, including spending time with children at orphanages
• Holding basketball clinics
• Delivering food to sugar cane villages

They will also use their platform as a basketball team to give young athletes hope in their future as they exemplify good attitudes and sportsmanship on and off the court.  

To make this trip a reality, they need sponsors to provide financial assistance.
