MOFGA is advocating for increased federal funding to help organic farmers both in Maine and across the country. The 2023 Farm Bill is an important and immediate opportunity to support farmers and create incentives to embrace organic management practices. We are leveling the playing field for small and medium-sized growers in Maine, and collaborating with national coalitions to ensure that organic farms are receiving a larger portion of federal support.
