Doctrine: Covenant - God Pursues
“Doctrine” seeks to trace the big theological themes of Scripture along the storyline of the Bible. Each month in 2020, we will be releasing a set of content – a one-hour teaching, Q&A, re-written e-book chapter (in English and Spanish), and lecture notes – related to each chapter of the newly re-written “Doctrine” book. We pray it will be beneficial to you as you study the Bible and dive deeper into who God is.
In February, the topic is covenant. God’s response to our sin was covenant - saving, glorious, loving covenant. This is because God is, by nature of being Trinitarian, covenantal. As the Father, Son, and Spirit are a covenantal community as one God, so too they are graciously covenantal with believers, despite the fact we start as sinful enemies and rebels.
