A 25-Day Devotional to help you experience the peace and joy of Christmas!
“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel.” —Matthew 1:23
Immanuel, God with us
Every name Jesus is given in Scripture describes his character. He is Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace, Mighty God, King of kings, and Lord of lords. He is Savior.
All of those names are encompassed by the name God revealed to Isaiah. Immanuel means “God with us.” Jesus was and remains God incarnate
The Son of God stepped out of heaven and into the world. The Creator God had come to dwell with men.
The miraculous event of Christmas is a wonderful time to bring our focus and attention back to Jesus—our greatest gift and only source of peace and joy.
The Gift of Immanuel was written to serve as a daily reminder of the highest purpose for our holiday season. Jesus, Immanuel, was born so that we could live each day on earth, and eternally, with God.
