“It’s very difficult to be a Jew wherever you are. When bad things happen, like this war now in Ukraine, Jews are always blamed. That’s why we’re grateful to be in the Haifa Home and in Israel. We feel so loved and welcomed here. They take wonderful care of us, and we are so happy to be here.” - Maya (84) is a new immigrant from Ukraine. She arrived at the ICEJ Home for Holocaust Survivors in July 2022.
During this time of war and uncertainty in Ukraine, the ICEJ has rescued over 75 Holocaust Survivors who needed to escape and come to Israel. We have cared for these precious Survivors, providing them with love and the care they so desperately needed.
You have been instrumental in partnering with the ICEJ, and we thank you for your help in bringing healing and hope into these Survivor’s lives.
We continue to receive requests daily from Survivors who still need assistance. Many do not have family to fall back on; we are their last source of hope.
During this season of celebration and thanksgiving, you can help care for more Survivors in Israel and support this wonderful home of healing. Please send a special holiday gift today!
With your continued support, we can expand the ICEJ Home for Holocaust Survivors and provide more of these precious Survivors with the love and healing they deserve.
