Salim is seven years old and lives with his aunt. He is not going to school because his aunt is unable to provide him with school fees. Salim's aunt looks after 6 other children between the ages of 2-12 and none of them are at school. Salim’s father died two years ago in a motor accident. His mother abandoned him.

The aunt cares for the children by doing small jobs, especially in exchange for food. There are times when the children go hungry. Salim's sponsorship would enable him to acquire a quality education and give him a brighter future ahead.
