Brilliant is a 9-year old girl who lives with her mother and 5 other siblings. Her mother is the main breadwinner for the family. The father’s whereabouts are unknown.

Brilliant’s mother struggles to put food on the table for the entire family. She has a difficult time paying the household bills such as rent and utilities. She washes clothes in her neighborhood to support her family. She is unable to make enough money to provide for Brilliant’s school fees and scholastic materials.

Brilliant would like to be able to attend school. She wants to be a pilot and fly airplanes some day so that she can travel and go to different places.
