Imagine a camper stepping into a canoe for the first time—nervous, then laughing with friends, paddling across the lake, and marveling at God’s creation. At Wood Lake, moments like these spark courage, teamwork, and memories that last a lifetime. But camp is more than fun - it’s life-changing. Campers leave inspired, confident, and growing closer to Christ. Every session, cabin chat, and lake adventure is designed to help them experience God in meaningful ways.  Our prayer is that each camper lives out Colossians 2:6–7, which says:

“Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”

When Wood Lake re-opened in 2021, we were blessed to receive several used canoes, kayaks, and paddles donated to us. Over the years, they’ve been enjoyed by countless campers - but now they’re worn and need replacement to keep everyone safe and ready for adventure. That’s why we’re hoping to raise $40,000 by December 31 to renew our fleet with new canoes, kayaks, funyaks, and paddles. Your gift of any size makes a real difference! For example, your gift of
