“Jesus, the Light of the World”: A First15 Advent Devotional for Kids!

Earlier this year, First15 released our very first devotional book for children titled My Time with God, and the response was incredible! The results were clear: kids love to spend time with God and devotional materials are a must!

That’s why we created our very first kids devotional for the Advent season: Jesus, the Light of the World!

This 25-day devotional helps kids understand more about how God gave a very special calling to people throughout scripture to be an amazing part of God’s gift to the world: the birth of his son!

Jesus, the Light of the World is intended to help kids ages 6-12 experience God’s peace in the midst of the Christmas season and learn more about the reason for his presence.

Each day of Jesus, the Light of the World includes:

  • Daily scripture
  • A devotional to help kids learn about Jesus and why he was born
  • An activity to help them practice what they learned more deeply
  • And a prayer to help them learn how to pray and to thank the Lord for all they’ve learned

This is a fun and insightful way for kids to learn how Jesus was the light that came to heal and save a hurting and broken world.

Jesus, the Light of the World is our gift to thank you for your donation of $21 or more, so please request your copy when you give below to help more people discover God in fresh ways through First15 content.

And, with your order of Jesus, the Light of the World, you will receive a digital copy of the prayers and scripture cards featured throughout the devotional. You can print these out, save them to your phone as a reminder to pray for your kids (or grandkids!), or share them on social media!

We pray that God uses this resource to grow the faiths of many children, and may he bless the kids in your life as they connect with him through Jesus, the Light of the World!

P.S. Right now we are offering a special bundle that includes both Jesus, the Light of the World and The Gift of Immanuel, an Advent devotional written for adults. Click here to get your bundle!

If you'd like to order multiple copies, please make a donation of at least $21 per book and note how many copies you'd like to order in the comments box.
