“COVID-19 can't cancel community. Or generosity. Or kindness.”
Tuesday, May 5, is #GivingTuesdayNow, a one-day response of giving and unity in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.
Thousands of nonprofits across the country are taking part, including Denison Forum.
We do so in conjunction with #NorthTexasGivingDay, which has greatly benefitted hundreds of worthy causes in North Texas. (Our headquarters are in Dallas, TX).
As the North Texas Giving Day website attests, “With many nonprofits seeing an increase in demand for critical services coupled with the cancellation of in-person fundraising opportunities, all charitable organizations, including North Texas nonprofit organizations are reeling from the devastating impact of this global health emergency.”
Ministries like ours, which rely on donations, are no different.
If you’ve been encouraged by Dr. Denison’s timely, biblical insight into today’s challenging issues, please prayerfully consider donating to Denison Forum for #GivingTuesdayNow.
As a digital ministry, we feel as if God has prepared us for such a time. Consider what one reader recently wrote to us:
“Both my husband and I read and greatly benefit from your insightful posts, which we believe are inspired, scripturally solid, and intellectually appealing. Thank you, and please know that you and your staff and supporters are all going forth into all the world spreading the good news of the gospel—a very worthy use of modern technology.” —Harriett B.
With so many people looking for hope online, we ask that you consider partnering with us to continue bringing the hope of the gospel to the world.
Gratefully,
Dr. Jim Denison
