Support for Israel

As Support for Israel is one of Concerned Women for America’s seven core issues, the evil attacks against Israel over the last few weeks have stirred our leaders to prayer and action.  Our YWA chapters quickly mobilized to gather together in prayer and discussion through our Support for Israel lesson booklet. As Israel defends her land and people, and the discourse on many college campuses turns to anti-Israel, pro-Hamas, and even pro-terror rhetoric, our leaders are ready to do more.

Cost covers security, permits, sound system, staging, signage, t-shirts, Israeli flags, food, and travel for staff. Security is primary cost, but absolutely necessary given the threats of violence against those who stand with Israel.  YWA Chapter President, Britton Miller, kicked off the first Support for Israel Prayer Vigil on October 25 at Liberty University where CEO and President Penny Nance joined to pray for the hostages in Gaza.

We have held rallies at Liberty University, Texas A&M, Clemson, Baylor, Georgia Tech, the University of Alabama, and the Oklahoma State Capitol.  Right now, the Chapter Presidents of Grove City College and community leaders in Rutherford County, Tennessee and Chino Hills, California are working to prepare to show Support for Israel and gather students and the community to pray and rally.  

We are reaching out to coalition partners to join in this effort including Passages, Philos Project, Christians United for Israel, Turning Point USA, the Jewish fraternity Alpha Epsilon Pi, and the Jewish sorority Sigma Delta Tau.
