Council on Aging: Granny Get-Down 2025!

Join Us for the 7th-Annual Granny Get Down: The Ole School Food Fest!

Hosted by Council on Aging of West Florida. 🍳🥐

We’re bringing back that ole school food fest feeling this year, so come on over, and let’s get down! 

Granny Get Down is a vibrant and nostalgic celebration of classic culinary delights, bringing together the community to support a noble cause. This event will feature a variety of food, live music, cooking demonstrations, and family-friendly activities, all aimed at raising funds to combat food insecurity among our elderly residents. 

Each dish at Granny Get Down is prepared by talented Americorps Senior Volunteers from our Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion Programs. From savory classics to decadent desserts, every recipe is made with love and a dash of friendly competition. Attendees will have the chance to sample each creation and meet our hard-working Senior Volunteers. 

Tickets to the event are $10/piece. Please let us know how many tickets you are purchasing in the comment box

Every ticket sold helps provide essential services to older adults in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. For just $10 per ticket, you can help us battle food insecurity, isolation, and other difficulties seniors in our community face.
