Turn Sunshine Into Light for Rural Families in Togo
In many rural communities in Togo, reliable access to electricity is still a challenge. Through CBM’s partnership with the Convention Baptiste du Togo (CBT), we are helping provide rechargeable solar lamps to churches and families where they can make a real difference.
For many of us in Canada, turning on a light is something we barely think about. But when electricity is limited or unavailable, the hours after sunset can look very different.
A solar lamp can give a child more time to read or finish schoolwork. It can give a pastor light to prepare for Sunday or spend time in Scripture. It can mean a family is able to sit together in the evening, or a church can continue a meeting, Bible study, or time of fellowship after dark.
These are small, everyday things, but they matter.
Through this project, CBT will distribute solar lamps to churches and families, particularly in rural communities where access to electricity is limited. Each lamp offers a practical source of light that can be used again and again.
Your gift will help put that light directly into the hands of a family or church in Togo.
Thank you for helping meet a practical need in a way that will be felt in the everyday lives of people and churches.
