Khin lives in Myanmar, where poverty and conflict have made life uncertain.

However through CBM’s local partner, she joined a women’s self-help group where she learned how to save, budget, and start a small business.

Today, she has a steady income — and mentor’s other women in her village.

As Khin shares: "Before, we had many difficulties and didn’t have money. But now, I have a regular income and can help other women in my village too. I feel proud that I can stand on my own.”
