Support Relief Efforts in Nepal

On August 26, a massive collapse of ice and rock in the Himalayas triggered catastrophic flash floods through communities near Nepal’s border with Tibet.

Water, mud, and debris swept through villages and valleys, destroying homes, roads, bridges, and other infrastructure. Hundreds of people have died, many remain missing, and relief efforts are continuing as communities face both immediate needs and significant loss.

How CBM is responding

CBM is supporting our partner in Nepal as they work directly with families impacted by the floods. Their initial relief efforts will provide food, emergency shelter materials, blankets, mobile health services, and basic kitchen supplies.
