Support Relief Efforts in Nepal

On August 26, a massive collapse of ice and rock in the Himalayas triggered catastrophic flash floods through communities near Nepal’s border with Tibet.

Water, mud, and debris swept through villages and valleys, destroying homes, roads, bridges, and other infrastructure. Hundreds of people have died, many remain missing, and relief efforts are continuing as communities face both immediate needs and significant loss.

Our partner is responding

CBM’s partner in Nepal is responding directly in affected communities, drawing on local relationships and knowledge to identify where support is most needed.

CBM is contributing to these relief efforts through our Emergency Response funds.
