New Beginnings - A Place to Call Home will create safe, stable, and affordable homes prioritized for women and their children escaping domestic violence. Thank you for your financial support that is making this possible.

With a focus on family-centered design, this new project that will feature a mix of unit sizes, energy-efficient design, and shared outdoor space, providing long-term stability and a sense of community. In partnership with Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region, up to 40% of these 20 new homes will be made available for women transitioning out of emergency shelters. These homes will offer more than just a roof over their heads, they will provide hope, security, and the foundation for a bright future.
