Thank you for Supporting the Zachary Schwarz Mountain Fund

Zach fulfilled his lifelong dream of becoming a ski instructor in Colorado during the 2023-24 winter season. In Telluride, Zach discovered his true happy place—immersed in his job, the people, the community, and the mountain lifestyle he loved. Although his time in Colorado was brief, those weeks were the happiest of his young adult life.

To honor Zach’s passion for the mountains, his parents, John and Lynn, along with his brothers Jake, Nathan, and Eric have established the Zachary Schwarz Mountain Fund. This fund is dedicated to supporting aspiring ski instructors in Telluride, helping them pursue their own dreams by providing financial assistance for the training and certifications necessary to earn a livable wage doing what they love—teaching others to enjoy skiing and the outdoors.
